My name is Sarah Nann, and I am a destination fine art wedding photographer Colorado, also working in Charleston, South Carolina and serving couples worldwide. I have the pleasure of photographing gracious, passionate, and sophisticated couples that value clean, classic wedding imagery and a high-touch, elevated client experience.
Aerospace engineering leader turned destination wedding photographer.
Prior to becoming a professional destination wedding photographer, I spent a decade working as an engineering leader in corporate aerospace at Boeing and GE Aviation helping build the world’s cutting edge aircraft, and have a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech. You’ll never find me far from leaning on my engineering and project management skillsets on wedding weekends - I have a strong eye for every single detail, me and my team are incredibly meticulous and attentive, and I have a deep sense of responsibility for creating a seamless, stress-free experience for our clients and our partner vendor teams.

Global travel has always been a source of inspiration for me - the historic architecture, hidden streets, overflowing gardens, distinct lighting, and natural wonders around the world have been a joy to have in front of my cameras. We travel often both personally & professionally, and I speak French & Italian conversationally, which creates a sense of comfortability and a 'citizen of the world' approach wherever our cameras take us.

My husband, August, and our own marriage, is an immense source of inspiration on wedding weekends as I capture others entering marriage with their forever person. Walking through life with him is an honor and a constant reassurance of being surrounded by love, joy, & calm. I know how much certain moments on a wedding day can mean for my couples, simply because I have walked in their shoes myself recently.

My approach to a wedding day is two-pronged: the first, to unobtrusively photograph the events and moments of the day as they naturally unfold in a photojournalistic, storytelling manner; and the second, to craft true-to-life, gorgeous, and comfortable portraiture to traditionally document your marriage, your wedding day, and the people present for it.
At SNP, we are ‘hybrid’ wedding photographers, meaning that we work in both digital and film mediums. Film is one of our favorite things to shoot with. It demands intentional image composure & careful consideration of each image captured. My editing style matches my film scans to be clean, bright, light, and airy. Skin tones are natural, colors are rich, and the lighting is flattering and bright. Film has a truly timeless, heirloom quality to it that will age well in the decades to come.
We believe in galleries that look and feel holistic, as to easily transport you immediately back to your wedding weekend. Sneak peeks are delivered within 3 days of your wedding, and final galleries are delivered within 8 weeks, including film scans! We hand edit every single image that gets delivered - you’ll never see us outsource editing. Our quality standards are extremely high, and galleries are reviewed extensively for coloring, lighting, tone consistency, storytelling, and a proper balance of portraits, candids, details, and the in-betweens.
