Perched among Aspen’s towering peaks and overlooking the Maroon Bells and Pyramid Peak, T Lazy 7 Ranch delivers an intimate yet majestic wedding experience. The main meadow, with sweeping mountain views in every direction, was where Katie and James said their vows. The couple embraced vibrant blooms and the wide Colorado sky. It was the perfect choice for their summer celebration, inviting guests to soak in the surroundings as much as the moment.

It’s perfect for a sailcloth-tented reception paired with a wide-open ceremony lawn framed by wildflower meadows and mountains. Katie and James’ design embraced Aspen’s summer palette with vibrant florals and bespoke elements that reflected both who they are. Florals by Carolyn’s Flowers leaned into local color and texture, enhancing without competing with the stunning mountain views.
Unique personal touches made this celebration feel entirely theirs. Custom watercolor coasters were gifted to guests and inspired by their favorite New York City bar. An invitation suite by stationer Lucky Onion featured an original painting of Pyramid Peak created by Katie’s stepsister. Every detail held meaning, reflecting the couple’s journey together and their deep affection for the places and people they treasure.
Aspen Ceremony & Reception | A Colorado Summer Day
Their summer ceremony unfolded under clear blue skies, with natural wooden chairs and floral meadows. Surrounded by friends and family, Katie and James exchanged vows in a meadow framed by mountain peaks. This created a visual that will forever feel emblematic of their love and the place they chose to celebrate it.
Cocktail hour offered elevated culinary moments, including a jamón carving station, Colorado beef carpaccio and East Coast oysters, tying together flavors that spoke to both the couple’s travels and Colorado’s rich culinary spirit. In turn, guests moved to a sailcloth-tented reception, where patterned linens set a joyful tone for the night ahead.
Meanwhile, inside the tent, dynamic floral installations by Carolyn’s Flowers danced above elegant table settings, and a bespoke sugar-floral cake by Coppelia Cakes stood as a centerpiece of edible beauty. Under the golden Aspen light & evening alpenglow, every moment, from heartfelt speeches to dance-filled evenings, radiated warmth and connection.
