What can I say about Claudia & Kevin other than how much I simply adore having them in front of my camera! I was introduced to this sweet couple through one of my Virginia Tech grad clients earlier this year – she put me in touch with them because they were actively looking for the perfect wedding photographer to photograph their beautiful autumn Murray Hill wedding next year, but kept striking out with finding a photographer that fit their style and personality. During each of my consult calls with my potential clients, I tell them my biggest reason of choosing our own wedding photographer – that ultimately, you should love the photographer’s style and work, but you should equally enjoy them as a person, because they’re the vendor that you spend the most time with on your wedding day by far! This, in turn, makes your wedding photography experience effortless and relaxed, and you look like your selves in your photographs!
We started out our session time together in Old Town Alexandria for a classic, autumn backdrop to their Washington D.C. engagement photos. Their request for their Northern Virginia engagement session was simple – they wanted to wander the streets of Old Town Alexandria, show me their favorite spots that they’ve come back to time and time again, and take photos that felt like them!
