When Rebekah and Anthony initially contacted me about their Westin Hilton Head Resort Wedding, they had discussed how important Hilton Head was to them, their families, and their love story. Both originally from the Atlanta area, they spent many summers growing up traveling to Hilton Head island for family getaways by the sea. I was so excited that they had chosen to get married in such a beautiful place that meant so much to them – so it was a no-brainer that we photographed their engagement session in Hilton Head Island, too!
We began our time together at the Sea Pines Resort near the Harbourtown Lighthouse, which is a truly iconic part of the Hilton Head area! Nestled under the tall trees and Spanish moss, the sunlight caught the marina behind them perfectly as it set, and made for a beautiful backdrop for the start of our session. They had an effortlessness in front of my camera that made my job all too easy, and laughed the whole way through our session time together!
We then made our way over to a private beach on Hilton Head Island near their condo just in time to watch the sun set & have an outfit change, and the Lowcountry’s epic cotton candy-colored sunset certainly didn’t disappoint!
