Westin Hilton Head Wedding: Rebekah & Anthony

Inspired by the charm of the Lowcountry and featuring hints of champagne throughout, Rebekah & Anthony’s stunning Westin Hilton Head wedding celebration was the perfect balance of elegant and coastal. This well-styled wedding is sure to inspire with thoughtful details that balanced their elegant black tie affair against the natural beauty of the oceanfront views that surrounded their wedding day. We are so honored to see this gorgeous wedding recently published on the front page of Inspired By This, which you can read here

Old Hollywood ‘Meet Cute’

Rebekah & Anthony’s meeting reminds me of something out of an old Hollywood film. After growing up in the same small town in central Georgia, these two had an instant friendship and connection at a young age. A chance encounter between these two in a 6th grade class has led to a nearly 12-year relationship. Anthony chose to call back to the precise moment they met to propose to Rebekah – getting down on one knee in the original classroom of their local school in which they met! After attending the University of Georgia together, they chose to call Atlanta their permanent, post-grad home. Their love is easy-going, devoted, and full of the kind of energy that speaks to their relationship spanning over a decade of their young lives. From the bride, “We have grown up together, grown together, and continue to go through different stages of our lives together. I am so excited to finally be at our wedding weekend together – it was a long time coming!”

Hilton Head Wedding Venue

If you are planning a Hilton Head wedding, the Westin Hilton Head Island emerges as an exceptional venue choice with unrivaled hospitality in the area. Nestled in the breathtaking scenery of Hilton Head Island, this premier destination offers couples a captivating setting for their special day. If you’re envisioning a remarkable Westin Hilton Head wedding, look no further as we explore the mesmerizing details that make this venue the epitome of elegance and romance. From breathtaking ocean views to impeccable service, the Westin Hilton Head Island can turn your dream wedding into a reality.

Because the Westin is a resort and spa, when you host your destination wedding weekend at this Hilton Head wedding venue, you have the ability to host your guests easily on site in luxurious oceanfront accommodations. We love how easy a resort makes for a weekend full of wedding celebrations – you can easily host your welcome party, rehearsal dinner, engagement parties, and wedding ceremonies all within the same sprawling grounds filled with southern hospitality. A post-wedding brunch on the property’s vast outdoor decks with ocean views is the perfect end cap to your intimate wedding weekend! While our couple opted for the Oceanfront Deck and Ocean Terrace to host their Hilton Head wedding at, the Grand Ballroom indoors makes for a perfect climate-controlled space to easily host a wedding in, too.

The stunning oceanfront accommodations at the Westin Hilton Head boast easy access to hotel amenities, swimming pools, private indoor spaces, and private balconies to watch the sunset over the Atlantic. In addition to having elegant venues as a Hilton Head wedding venue, you have plenty of outdoor space options, too. Throughout their wedding weekend, Rebekah and Anthony opted for outdoor portraits, a naturally lit wedding reception in the Ocean Terrace ballroom, and an after party under the stars.

Hilton Head South Carolina

Hilton Head Island has held a special place in their hearts for decades. A family-favorite beach retreat spot to spend weeks during the summers escaping the Georgia humidity, it was an easy decision for the couple to select it as the backdrop for their nuptials. The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort made for the perfect place to host their fête on the island – a beachside wedding deck facing the water set the tone for their outdoor ceremony, and an all-white ballroom, the Grand Ocean Terrace, with floor-to-ceiling natural light on all sides, created a calming, ocean-inspired ambiance for their guests.

Westin Hilton Head Wedding

We started the day with photographing the couple’s details and stationery suite. Rebekah worked with her planning team to weave a delicate color scheme of champagne, light pink, black, and white throughout their wedding weekend festivities, and that all started with their invitations. For their detail flat lays, a combination of white roses and local pink camellia blooms was selected to carry their color scheme into every aspect of their day. Delicate gold foiling decorated their invitation design. And the detail-loving bride chose to include all her fashion accessories as part of their flat lays, down to her fabulous Stuart Weizmann sparkling stilettos, and delicate pearl jewelry from Kate and Mari.

In keeping with their champagne color scheme, Rebekah chose champagne-colored silk dresses from designer Jenny Yoo for her bridesmaids. Florals by the local floral designer Kato featured an abundance of white and light pink roses, fresh greenery, and white ranunculus. The sprawling grounds and green turf created a beautiful locale for wedding party portraits under the palmetto trees. The bride opted for a stunning bridal ensemble by designer Elizabeth Lee, complete with a modern square neckline, hand beading floral motif throughout its length, and a jaw-dropping trumpeted silhouette and train.

Oceanfront Deck Wedding Ceremony

We couldn’t have asked for more perfect autumn weather for their Westin Hilton Head wedding – slightly overcast conditions with the sun just barely peeking through created magical Lowcountry light that framed each wedding portrait in soft, glowing light. The couple opted for a sunset oceanfront ceremony on the resort’s Oceanfront Deck, flanked by tall floral compotes of hydrangeas and roses, and surrounded by their favorite friends and family in attendance. A nearby beach entry point was the perfect locale for their ‘just married’ portraits as the sun began to set over the ocean. While the couple took their ‘just married’ portraits on the beach, the Oceanfront Deck was transformed into an outdoor cocktail receptions space.

Grand Ocean Terrace Wedding Reception

Guests made their way from the deck to the Grand Ocean Terrace as the last daylight hit the horizon. The couple chose a long head table parallel to the oceanfront windows as the centerpiece of their reception design. Guests were greeted with an 8-foot floral wall installation upon entering the reception space by Atlanta Flower Wall Co., and were seated at round tables throughout the space, featuring tall compotes and golden candlelight.

As day transformed into night, the couple made their grand entrance, and spent their evening dancing the night away. A quick outfit change for the bride into a short, sparkly number and her Jeffrey Campbell pumps set the tone for the rest of the night! Rebekah & Anthony’s celebration wouldn’t have been complete without sneaking away for a few moments for some direct flash photos in the resort’s sumptuous lobby, and a bubble exit to close out the night. I am so thrilled we got to be a part of their magical wedding day with such a stellar group of vendors that made it all possible! Cheers to the newlyweds Rebekah & Anthony!
