One of my favorite parts about being a wedding photographer is all of the incredible places that I get to work at with my sweet couples for their engagement sessions and wedding days! This destination engagement session was no different – I had the pleasure of getting to work with the delightful Mackenzie and Jake at two of my favorite Savannah, Georgia locations to take photographs at! We started our time together by exploring the jaw-dropping, gorgeous Wormsloe Historic Site, and made our way to downtown Savannah to finish their engagement session at Forsyth Park as the sun slowly set for the day!
Mackenzie and Jake are both Auburn University alum, having met during college one spontaneous evening that has turned into five beautiful years spent together! Their wedding next year at the stunning Belfair 1811 will be one for the ages. This is one of my favorite venues in the Bluffton, South Carolina area, and we picked working at Wormsloe for their engagement session to mimic the beautiful oak trees and Spanish moss that line the main entrance road at Belfair!
